Dr Mark Pedersen is the CTO at KJR, Australia’s leading digital transformation risk consultancy. Mark started his IT career in the Software Verification Research Centre, and joined KJR in 1998. He has been involved in testing a variety of financial and mission-critical software systems, as well as developing and delivering a wide range of professional training courses for the software quality industry, chairing leading industry conferences and forums, and, outside of business hours, pushing the boundaries of interactive digital culture and art. As the CTO at KJR, Mark works closely with both technical and business stakeholders in order to deliver the best of emerging software quality and risk mitigation techniques in a practical business environment, with a particular interest in agile and adaptive approaches. Based in Melbourne, but frequently spotted in airports across the country, Mark can usually be found in the midst of fellow digital creatives, espresso in hand.Specialties: Digital assurance, risk evaluation and mitigation strategies, requirements quality, UX quality evaluation, software process improvement and audits.
