Integrated into a project team as a Business Analyst I was originally responsible for identifying procedural gaps within the support role. This meant modeling the As Is and To Be functions for the localised helpdesk and extended support staff. The role was later expanded to include data analysis, maintaining data integrity, identification of candidates, resource planning and management, design and publication of user guides in SharePoint, and liaising with O2 account managers.Citrix – Review of Citrix solution. Responsible for the review and validation of the Council's existing Citrix solution. A discovery/investigation was initiated to address: the overall need and state of the system, any known alternatives and high level financials. Various elicitation techniques were utilised including document analysis, producing and compiling surveys and conducting interviews with both IT and business users. ITS (Intelligent Traffic Systems) Office move.A requirements identification exercise for an ITS office move. This involved stakeholder analysis, interviewing business managers, liaising with third party vendors, and requirements negotiation.

Specialist in full BPM SDLC, utilising both Agile and Waterfall deliveries. Role Responsibilities:• Business Analysis: Full life cycle analysis - Functional and Non Functional Requirements Gathering, Root Cause Analysis, Gap Analysis Workshops and production of Business Requirement Documents (BRDs).• Stakeholder Management: Management of stakeholder relationships at all levels of the business (both internally and with third party suppliers).• Design & Implementation: Lead multiple delivery streams documenting Use Cases, modelling AS is TO be (BPMN), constructing User Stories and designing screens and interfaces.• Project Management: Full life cycle management utilising both Agile and Waterfall methodologies including: Project Initiation and planning, defect management and Product Backlog maintenance.• Testing: Test script creation and UAT coordination.• Service Delivery: SME for IBM Business Process Management Platform and all corresponding business streams, providing specialised 3rd line support to global users (700+).• Management: Manage a team of 4 BPM analyst programmers both offshore and domestically. Coordination of Release and Change Management.• Reporting: Produce adhoc management reports using SQL, Oracle, MS Query and Excel on BPM process app activities (ISA, Corporate Actions and Journal/Payments).Project Highlights:Journals/Payments – Create workflow to transfer internal funds between accounts and ledgersI Independently ran and designed an 8 month project to build a workflow solution capturing rules, exceptions and various authorisation levels based around the transfer of funds.BPM Migration – Migration from Teamworks Lombardi 7.0.1 to IBM BPM V8.0.1I designed, scoped and ran the Teamworks Lombardi migration from 18 UK-based servers to IBM BPM V8 hosted in the US. This was an 18 month project resulting in: costs being driven down, increased product stability, new cross team development and extended the life of the product.

Development of user-friendly, flexible, bespoke End User Computer solutions. Primary liaison between the business and IT development for the production and support of all End User- MS Access, MS Excel and VBA applications. The focus of the role was to bring structure to development of End User applications and help the business where project resource was unavailable. During this role I was responsible for two analysts and was exposed to many diffrent areas of the financial services sector. I ran small projects gathering requirements, manipulating data and building databases for, Dividends, Corporate Actions, Trade Capture, Compliance, Credit Risk, Finance, Regulatory and IT for a variety of reasons (FATCA Swift, MiFID).Project Highlights:Production of End User Computing CatalogueA project initiated and run by myself utilising several EUC analysts to capture, validate - and if necessary fix/change all end user applications. This included documenting all the applications, validating all inputs, outputs and dependencies, highlighting risk to senior management; and installing proper controls and procedures for the future production of EUC apps.Reconciliation DatabaseA project to automate the reconciliation of fund manager’s holdings against mainframe holding records. I independently, initiated, planned, executed and delivered new processes and procedures incorporating templates, automatic upload reconciliation and exception handling.EUC UpgradeDefined, scoped and independently ran a company-wide upgrade of all MS Access, MS Excel and MS Word VBA applications from 2000 to 2007. This project involved baselining 140 End user applications, converting them, liaising with stake holders, defining acceptance criteria, managing code rewrites, unit testing, UAT and managing a phased roll out.
