•Responsible for leading the shipping, receiving, inventory, quality control, distribution operations and warehouse teams;•Manage, motivate, train and monitor the warehouse team;•Ensure warehouse is functioning at peak efficiency at all time, including deliveries, shipping and receiving;•Oversee the efficient and accurate delivery of products to clients, ensure that all goods from the company's suppliers are received in an accurate and timely manner (including inspection/QC) to allow for a quick turnaround for customer delivery as required. Report all goods received in a damaged condition and/or missing to allow the company to meet the necessary time frame to make a claim.•Manage and monitor warehouse budget and expenses, and implement cost control measures;•Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations;•Prepare and monitor action plans, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve day-to-day problems or challenges;•Work collaboratively with the VP Sales, Purchasing Manager, Controller, and HR Manager;•Coordinate with HR and assist in recruiting, interviewing, selecting, orienting, and training employees; •Handle annual job reviews or performance evaluations and recommend compensation actions;•Provide a positive direction while mentoring and teaching the warehouse staff/drivers.•Review and develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and equipment utilization; analyze process work flow, manning and space requirements and implement changes;•Improve operational processes to achieve KPI's and overall efficiencies and levels of effectiveness, and adjust workload according to priorities;•Chair: Events Committee and Health and Safety;•Certified Forklift Operator; ability to drive a five-ton truck with airbrakes should the need arises.
