Never in my life would I have predicted that I would go from saying "Hola" to "pd.read_csv". Throughout my college years, I was taking random biology classes, without certainty as to what career I should pursue. That was until I decided to take biostatistics. What made this course stand out was the implementation of quantitative research to help identify and find solutions for health-related concerns. Taking this course in college taught me the importance data analysis. I began my coding experience here using R and used it for practicing various parametric and non-parametric tests. I knew that this is what I was passionate about. In order to get more hands-on experience, I continued my education at Springboard. Recently, I completed the Data Science Career Track at Springboard that has helped me learn many essential Data Science skills. These include Python, Python libraries, SQL, supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms, and deep learning algorithms.
