As a Senior Paint Process Engineer for Fanuc Robotics America, I am responsible for robotic path development of the entire product line of paint robots and opening devices. Versed in the application of prime, base coat, one and two component clear coats, as well as powder coats. I have extensive experience with gun and bell applicators manufactured by FANUC, Sames, EFC, Ransburg, Honda, and Lactec. I am proficient in X-Rite, Wave Scan, Elcometer, and Fischer Scope readings. I have successfully executed interior and exterior paint application projects in nine countries on five continentsLead Process EngineerIn this capacity, I was responsible for overseeing and reviewing numerous paint process engineers. My responsibilities included originating process execution programs, verifying project timelines, confirming delivery schedules were being met, ensuring that best practices for robot programming were being followed as well as being a technical resource for the engineers in our group. I assisted in the allocation of manpower and was a liaison between the paint process department and our product development group on technical issues.

I was responsible for new product development of automotive lighting. I set standard conditions for the hard coating of headlamp lenses, the decoration painting of head lamp and tail lamp lenses and housings, and the vacuum metalizing of headlamp bezels. Additionally, I was responsible for prototyping and approving paint jigs for all paint lines as well as teaching paint paths for Tokico robots.

Responsible for second shift batch processing of cosmetics and personal care items. Coordination of the activities of 15 compounders, two hilo drivers, and two custodians in order to meet the daily mix schedule was a recurring activity. I am fully trained in X-Rite Spectrophotometer use as well as a broad familiarity with GMP and PSM. My many responsibilities also included new hire training.
