Mark Perrone is well known for his decades of professional experience, creative skills and deep knowledge of the business of sports and entertainment. His career began in Washington D.C. with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, but Washington presented numerous opportunities, among them, a career change to the Washington Capitals of the NHL and Washington Bullets of the NBA and the chance to follow a path in professional sports management. He returned to Boston to take a senior position with Bob Woolf Associates. He established relationships in the NHL, NBA, NFL and MLB.Mark created Sportserve, Inc. Clients included NHL Hall of Fame inductees Cam Neely and Mats Sundin and a number of NHL All Stars, NFL All Pros. He became a consultant with a focus on due diligence processes, franchise analysis as well as expansion opportunities. Mark was also involved with the Olympic Games, serving as the General Manager in National Sports Festivals and a lead administrative capacity for USA Hockey, coordinating efforts in the east for the 1980 Gold Medal and 1984 U.S. Olympic hockey teams.Mark served as Executive Director of the Cracker Barrel 500, and the Golden Corral 500 NASCAR Cup events at Atlanta Motor Speedway. He was responsible for developing over $20M of revenue for the speedway in entitlement sponsorships. Mark spent the next several years with Newman/ Haas Racing as Executive Vice President and General Manager and was responsible for overseeing the legendary Milwaukee Mile, the oldest continually operating speedway in the world. Mark oversaw and promoted NASCAR, American Lemans, Indy Racing League and Champ Car open wheel events. Mark returned to his position as President of Sportserve, LLC, representing clients across multiple sports sectors, including the Kraft Sports Group, owners of the NFL New England Patriots, MLS Revolution and Gillette Stadium, Major League Professional Lacrosse, and motorsports promoter groups in a number of cities.
