BIM & VDC architectural support for the office

Technical document production for various project types including commercial & residential. BIM best practice maintenance, CAD & BIM templates & families / libraries steward. Performed QA/QC process maintenance for BIM documentation. Mentored junior staff on standards, practices and software use.

Liaised with sub-contractors to ensure compliance with order documentation. Per Lead Project Manager and/or Architect's design updates, created and updated BIM models and various plan sets from SD through CD phases to coincide with consultants’ linked models & design changes for projects including golf clubhouses, Space Planning, storefront commercial renovation, overseas mixed-use master planning, mid-sized healthcare, large scale commercial and high profile office TI projects.

Using Revit, designed fixtures for showcasing Apple products for Apple retail stores and various retail outlets throughout the world. In collaboration with the client’s and manufacturers’ design & shop drawing parameters, arranged CD drawing sets per fixture program for submittal.

Per Client’s request, prepared Zoning, Lease & CDs for a vast array of Telecom sites throughout the United States. Coordinated design & submittal schedule with project manager & clients, respectively. Constructed various views, details & specifications for existing and/or new equipment for each site. Maintained an extensive amount of drawings & site documentation in the database. Quality control manager for the in-house drafting team.

Per the Project Manager's/Architect's markups & design sketches, prepared drawings for DD sets using Revit and AutoCAD. Revised CD drawings in coordination with consultants and engineers for permit submittal and bid sets for commercial, retail, restaurant and residential projects.Updated revision correction sheets, additional code requirements, or client requests, as needed, for re-submittal.Field measured commercial and residential as-builts for proposed TI, remodel, and addition submittal sets.
