Established my own retail business in a triple fronted town centre location and ran this for three years, employing 5 staff. I established a network of suppliers and developed sources of stock at competitive prices through auctions and wholesalers, good learning curve.

I was responsible for UK and European sales, with a client base of cable operators, main contractors, distributors, fabricators and stockists, producing a turnover of £14 million per annum. I managed a team of 4 staff and reported directly to the board of directors. My main position was securing new and protecting existing business and developing new markets away from CATV and into virgin areas. I also developed and expanded Plazoo’s product range into new markets.

I was responsible for all UK sales in a company with a turnover of £56 million, through a client base including cable television and network companies, construction and cable installers. I reported to the European Manager, my main scope was to increase sales and gain product approval through design.
