I’m good with people. I like them. They are interesting as customers - and helping my colleagues fulfil their potential for their benefit, and for the benefit of the organisation, gets me out of bed and motivated. I lead, coach and mentor my team to get the best results. I also manage managers, helping them become better managers rather than doing their job for them.  I manage the day-to-day shop floor operation across the centre, ensuring that we provide an excellent service. I also manage KPI’s and budgets. It’s not just about people, but it’s mostly them that will make the numbers sing.Most of my career has been built up through Tesco, but I also spent some time with Aldi, which I found a refreshing and re-invigorating experience, especially as it gave me insight into how different business models and service levels effect sales and the customer experience.Current role means I am leading a large team within an automated distribution centre, understanding how to get the best from the team and technology.
