I have over 34 years’ experience in the International Investment Banking and Wealth Management for a number of main street institutions in the London, Asian, Australian and New Zealand markets. My experience includes running a fixed income proprietary trading desk, Head of Fixed Income in London, various aspects of structured finance, Global Head of New Product development and marketing in the Wealth Management sector. My roles have included leading – Capital raising, fund structuring, product development, transaction facilitation, project feasibility models, client relationship management (CRM) and negotiating exclusive product distribution agreements for USA, Canada and Russian Federation for an Australian based client in the Agri-tech sector. Other activities included the development and issuing of Offering Public Documents both in NZ and Australia and advising business on preparation for sale, equity and debt raising, with focus being on privately held companies.From my time living and working overseas I have excellent networks across NZ, UK, Europe, USA, and Australia and Asia. I bring energy and a questioning mind to the board table, with a focus on “risk”, with the belief that if we can identify and quantify all the risks within a business or proposed transaction, we can make much better informed and quality decisions on whether or not we are being paid enough for the risks currently seen in the business or proposal at hand.
