I am based in the Leeds office, but also work across EY's Hull, Manchester and Liverpool offices.As a regional indirect tax partner I have during my career advised a wide range of clients including multi-nationals, entrepreneurial businesses and public sector bodies. My diverse client base has given me the experience of advising on a broad range of projects from complex international supply chains to domestic VAT accounting and compliance. I also have significant experience of advising in respect of corporate acquisitions, disposals and restructuring. In addition to advising clients in respect of managing their VAT affairs I have also supported clients with advice in relation to customs duty including the delivery of AEO projects.Following the advent of the SAO regime I have assisted a significant number of clients in understanding and managing their requirements under the legislation and have delivered many projects focused on assessing and testing the businesses controls and processes across all taxes.
