I have enjoyed practicing law for over thirty years. It has been a privilege to work in different settings: large firms, small firms, and in-house. I have worked in a wide variety of substantive areas of the law: litigation, securities, intellectual property, corporate governance, M&A, etc. I am very entrepreneurial, having co-founded a medical-device startup in 2016, as General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer. Virtuoso has completed the initial design & fabrication of our surgical system, ending the fully R&D phase of the Company. Now we are heavily involved in testing, have had our first discussions with FDA, and first-in-human clinical efforts are expected to begin in January 2025. Quite a change in focus, but it is thrilling to see the system become a reality.
