Initially employed to be responsible for managing and developing the SOE (standard operating environment) used by all students and staff over multiple campuses, as well as servicing 1000+ laptops and desktops, combined with server administration. My role evolved into development after a series of contracted senior developers failed to work out how to integrate, migrate and synchronise data between student administration/ active directory/ student timetables/ student academic records. After successfully synchronising and automating data flow of all databases, I then went on to develop ticketed helpdesk software, online student subject enrolments and custom SharePoint modules.
