Currently serving with Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service as Station Manager. Due to Retire November 2021. My current role is Protection Manager for the Halton and Warrington portfolio area. I am also a flexible duty officer with the additional responsibilities for Fire Investigation and tactical incident command.I currently manage a team consisting of two Watch Managers and 7 Fire Safety Inspectors. My team are responsible for enforcing the Fire Safety Order within my portfolio area as well as responding to other statutory consultations such as licensing and building regulation submissions. Our other measurable objectives are the management and reduction of unwanted fire signals and accidental fires in non domestic premises.I am qualified to Skills for Justice Level 5 in fire investigation. In my current role I have investigated over 70 fires in a variety of circumstances. It has been my responsibility to determine origin and development in each case and to offer opinion on the most probable cause in each case. Other relevant qualifications: -Skills for Justice Level 4 Diploma in Fire Safety (Fire Inspector) BTEC Level 7 (Advanced Professional Certificate in Investigative Practice). In my personal life I am keen on keeping fit.
