I worked as a Plant Chemist for DSM Resins b.v. (nowadays AOC Resins) on the production location Schoonebeek. This location produces polyester resins for powder coatings as well as for composite resins. I worked at the R&D department for DSM NeoResins+ in Zwolle as a R&D project leader. This job focussed on new product development, upscaling of new products, troubleshooting/problem solving for the production locations of DSM Neoresins+ worldwide and project management.One part of the job was being a project leader for the Business Support group working on solventborne alkyds, solventborne acrylics and amino resins. The other main part of the job was being a project leader for New Business Development activities focussing on the development of new high solids alkyd resins.

At AKZO Nobel Chemicals b.v. in Arnhem, I worked as a research chemist at the Innovative Resin Research department for the Business Unit Resins. Main research topics that I have worked on are:1: Fundamental study on chain transfer agents for solventborne and waterborne acrylic resins. 2: Developing new rheology modifiers (sagging control agents) for solventborne acrylic resins.
