Realised benefits were a 40% headcount reduction with associated savings and efficiency gain of 20% OEE- Restructured Commercial rostering system ( from an entrenched 24/7 operating model since 2005) to a flexible 24/5 to 24/6 model- Implemented Lean/Continuous Improvement principles such as 5S, Autonomous Maintenance, Kamishibai Boards and A3 problem solving techniques, these tools provided infrastructure for empowerment, improved working conditions and reduction in waste. Programme has delivered circa 300% ROI- Transformed Employee engagement as measured by externally provided Employee Opinion Survey from 50% to 70% engagement through increased consultative forums, Site Update meetings and incentive schemes linked to productivity targets- Reduction of 3PL stockholding annual cost by 50% per annum by applying JIT principles and revision of raw material schedules- Developed raw material (packaging) benchmarking system which resulted in savings of 25% per annum- Implemented vented seal packaging for refined food grade products resulting in expansion for export market growth

Led the Company's Continuous Improvement programme across all five manufacturing sites within Australia. Proactively sourced and managed improvement projects involving key contractors and stakeholders within the organisation. Managed all significant Capital Expenditure projects ($10m) and ensured that all were completed in time, on budget and to specification.Achievements- Developed and implemented national performance metric across the business which provided a consistent benchmarking measure.- Managed upgrade to Bajool manufacturing plant resulting in food grade facility certification with significant savings.
