Tasked to deliver BNZ Board's vision of providing tangible support to the people of Canterbury and to facilitate the rebuild of Christchurch after 2010/2011 earthquakes. Expanded to leading teams across major centres delivering, House Under Construction, reintroducing Brokers, Leaky Homes, Disaster Recovery and piloting shared ownership. Reporting to Director Retail. Established and led specialists partnering with external experts to provide an advisory service beyond banking. Found innovative and effective solutions to improve customer experience, free up the pan-bank front line and engage with internal and external stakeholders. Future Hub had several elements: Technical experts - managing all EQC and insurance settlements nationwide. Ensuring the bank and customers' fulfill obligations to EQC and private insurers.Specialist Bankers - helping people navigate through complex issues facing post-quake Canterbury. Working with external strategic partners to provide effective options to resolve challenging cases. Expanded to support all EQC events nationally. Led Credit Managers - to enable flexible approaches to non-standard issues and develop new policy to reflect a new environment and mitigate brand, financial, and system risk.Growth specialists - (BDMs and Investment Advisors) proactively linking internal and external opportunity to enable and facilitate the recovery. Ensured BNZ was at the forefront of the rebuild by developing constructive networks with government, NGOs and the community.Led Specialists across Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch delivering the reintroduction of Broker Channel, Housing Under Construction, Leaky Homes, and Shared Property.Highlights:Supported 9,500 people to move forward post quake. Accountable for Operational management of two large co located sites - shared with 150 colleagues. Providing mentoring and leadership development to train new Store Managers.
