I also managed a team of 4 Technical Support, 2 Product Trainers and 2 Sales Admin for a period.Working with Manufacturing and Suppliers to ensure all required data was accurate, produced to process and specification and available on time. Tools used by the teams included SAP, SAP-PDM, Solid Edge, Solid Works, Mentor Graphics, MS Office, SharePoint Team Rooms, JIRA, MKS. Change Control was key part of my job and during this time I have developed and implemented several processes for this, the last one in JIRA, still being used to this day.Manufacturing, Product Management and Sourcing were all key regular contacts.

Notifier was a US based company with offices in Europe including the European headquarters and manufacturing site in Burgess Hill in the UK. As a member of the design team I supported the development, design and maintenance of Fire Control panels and ancillaries for the European market. I supported the manufacturing team daily. Tools used included BPCS MRP, Lotus Notes, MS Office, Generic CAD (an early derivative of AutoCAD) and SolidEdge. The Solid Edge system was introduced, initially producing 2D documentation and latterly 3D. for both Manufacturing and Suppliers.

ECC was a US based Simulation and Training company with an office and manufacturing site in the UK. Specializing in maintenance trainers for mainly military vehicles such as tanks, helicopters and aircraft. They also did some work with the RAC (Royal Automobile Club) on desk top trainers to teach their road based engineers how to fault find electrical systems on a wide variety of cars. • Introduction and Management of 2/3D MCAD system to work alongside drawing boards. • Training of MCAD users using ’Train the Trainer’ principles.• Develop processes and procedures to support CAD system usage.• Customisation of system for increased productivity.• Mechanical Design / MCAD.• Involved with introduction of MRP system (MAPS)

Working in the Ni-CAD batteries division. Using Drawing Board and a very early version of AutoCAD to produce Manufacturing production drawings for standard and bespoke battery packs for emergency lighting, film camera lighting, police and military radios. Also supported an on site production line. Configured and used AutoCAD to 'automatically' produce the 'standard' drawings saving a significant amount of time. Used PRIME MRP system to create Materials and BOM's
