Two person company using Autokon 86 on Apollo computers. In addition to nc lofting we maintained the Apollo operating system and then migrated to Unix on HP. Programming in awk to support production reporting.Designed for production to aid clients who were new to nc steel cutting process. Assisted some shipyard clients by direct liaison with on site steel erection. Fishing vessel sponsons, new construction for Nichols Brothers Incat cataman ferries, Jensen Maritime designs for builders like Fred Wahl in Oregon. Top project was 123ft Gerhard Gilgenast yacht built by Puglia Yacht in Tacoma. We put out a lot of steel as a two man shop while providing solutions for our clients.

Houston office was in charge of North American software sales of the Autokon Shipbuilding system.This period was the evolution of Autokon from a coding system to an interactive visual display using a wire frame model. Software running on Prime computer. Office staffed with 8 to 12 people.Customer support as nc loftsman, phone support for software users, on site training.
