Natural philosophy:Sustainability is more than academic concepts, economic models and political goals. It is a natural philosophy. Earth consists not only of single isolated elements, but coherent and codependant elements and networks. To work with sustainability is to unite with this reality, in a modern society that is mentally and structurally detached with it, resulting in the climate- and environmental issues we see today. I work with sustainability because i share the perception, that earth as a whole is a complex and coherent network in which human beings are deeply integrated. To create a thriving living world with thriving people, is to integrate this philosophy in all layers of society.Academic profile: With a bachelors degree in Sustainable Design-engineering, I create and drive sustainable transition projects in the cross-field between social science, technology studies, design practices and economical theories. This includes product, service and systems design/re-design and implementation strategies. Principles such as co-design, user-centered, and empathic design are used as a democratic way of collecting data and meeting the needs of people. Furthermore, circular economy act as a core principle of understanding and manage sustainable economies.
