Wing’s Senior Enlisted Leader to more than 2,100 personnel at 17 geographically separated units spanning 5K miles across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Key advisor to the commander on personnel, readiness, leadership, management/supervisor training, operations tempo and quality of life. Directly oversees 20 senior managers whose teams are responsible for 24-hour command and control, aircraft maintenance for 60k missions and movement of 164k tons of cargo and 600k passengers annually. Consistently partners with other senior leaders from all over Europe, Africa and the Middle East on personnel moves and matters impacting their missions.

Joint Base Mcguire Dix Lakehurst, Nj

Group Superintendent charged with overseeing the safe execution of daily operations and training for over 700 Air Force and Navy personnel across 3 flying squadrons and one Operations Support Squadron. The senior enlisted leader who advises the commander on all matters affecting the enlisted force. Provides guidance on policy, discipline, morale and welfare of all within the organization. Liaises with maintenance group and aerial port operations personnel to provide necessary equipment in order for personnel to accomplish the mission. Provide quality assurance of enlisted performance report and awards review. Coordinate plan for manpower allocation and hiring programs for senior enlisted leadership positions.

Deployed Chief Enlisted Advisor to the commander responsible for the health and welfare of more than 1200 active duty, Air National Guard and AF Reserve personnel. Oversaw eight diverse flying units, one command and control squadron and two geographically separated detachments.

Squadron Chief Enlisted Manager and 305 AMW Inflight Refueling Operator Functional Manager. Provides leadership, management and guidance in organizing, equipping, training and mobilizing the squadron to meet home station and expeditionary mission requirements. Key advisor to the commander; prepares enlisted force to best execute msn requirements and manage/direct resource activities as well as interpret and enforce standards. Manages qualification and experience levels, assignment opportunities & training programs for 80 squadron assigned enlisted personnel from four specialties. Oversees squadron's global air refueling/air transportation mission encompassing conventional, contingency, over-water receiver ferry and exercise. Monitors health/manning of boom operators & elevates concerns to functional managers. Ensures career-broadening opportunities and assesses strategic personnel plans.Wing Inflight Refueling Functional Manager: Manages over 100 boom operators from 7 organizations. Ensures timely placement and movement of manpower.

Scott Afb, Il

AMC Boom Functional Manager who advises the AMC Director of Operations on policy, guidance and training for more than 1,350 active duty, reserve and guard in-flight refueling operators. Prepares briefings for senior executives and operational personnel on matters affecting training and policy to safely operate the KC-10 aircraft in day to day operations. Writes mobility air force training policy for AMC Commander and A3 approval. Travels to operating bases to inspect personnel on adherence of policy, technical orders and publications. Ensure all Aircrew adhere to publishes documents to safely train and operate the KC-10 aircraft. Managed KC-10 and KC-135 Design Operational Capability (DOC) statements and 39 aviation Unit Type Codes (UTCs).

Dates: Nov 2005 – Dec 2009:Oversaw 97 Airmen comprised of 34 unique job specialties, 24 Unit Type Codes, and a $9 million budget. Ensured the proper balance of personnel during a period of decreasing top-line and manpower reductions. Advised commander on all matters relating to morale, health and welfare of personnel. Provide strategic insight to planning and execution of global tanker operations. Build master air refueling plan to be executed during operational engagements. Draft and review evaluations and awards for all enlisted personnel. Provides recommendations to commander on decision briefs, awards, appraisals and discipline. Advises the Director of Mobility Forces (DIRMOBFOR) on theater employment and command and control of air refueling assets in an Air & Space Operations Center (AOC). Assigns guidance on doctrine, capabilities, limitations, and employment procedures of assets.

Provided ground and flight instruction to newly assigned boom operators as well as initial instructors in the KC-10. Taught formal lesson plans in a classroom environment. Provided hands on instruction in the KC-10, both on the ground and while flying.
