My whole life has been spent learning about how things work and why they work a certain way. This curiosity has lead me to become knowledgeable on a variety of subjects with a strong focus on information technology. This knowledge is then shared with others in a manner that almost anyone can understand. My goal is to help people become familiar with the technology they use in their everyday lives, and how they can use that technology to its full potential. I currently work as a manager at Mediacom's Network Operations Center (NOC). We monitor an enterprise-level network spanning over 20 states, that provides an ever growing list of services. These services include Internet, cable television, video on demand, voice, VoIP, cellular backhaul, etc. On 3rd shift I supervise a team of approximately 12 people as we oversee the maintenance window from start to finish and respond to any unplanned network events.
