Angola

• Steered the BWM - Between Well Maintenance surveys of the Discoverer Luanda, Ensco DS-6, Deep-Water Stavanger and the Maersk Discoverer (Egypt). • Efficiently managed the BWM (Between Wells Maintenance) surveys, EOW (End of Well) surveys and 5 yearly SPS surveys (Special Periodic Surveys)• Audit 3rd party verifiers to assess quality of completed works and personnel competencies. • Performed well control equipment and systems inspection for worldwide BP deep-water drilling rigs to ensure adherence to contractual requirements and regulatory standards. • Subject matter expert involved in the assessment of the well control equipment to identify malfunctions, to recommend and to implement corrective actions to significantly reduce equipment down time. • Ensured adherence to government, industry and BP regulations of all completed works. • Strategic contributor to the major failures identification of drill-through equipment and controls and provided recommendations on best practice repair strategy. • Conducted FAT (factory acceptance testing) on new, rebuilt/repaired drill-through equipment to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.

• Oversaw the inspection of control equipment and systems for all types of drilling rigs worldwide to ensure adherence with government, industry and company’s standards. • Identified major failures of well control equipment and recommended corrective actions to significantly reduce the equipment downtime. • Successfully performed FAT (Houston), Commissioning (Korea) and IAT (onsite) on the West Polaris, West Capella, West Gemini, Ensco 8500, Saipem 1200, Songa Eclipse, Bicentanario and Ensco DS-7. • Conducted rig acceptance/surveys of Ensco DS-3, Ocean Monarch, Sedco Energy, GSF 135, Homer Ferrington, Scarebo 7, Pride Angola, Pride Africa, Ocean Confidence, West Sirius, Pride North America. • Developed strong skills in the latest generation of 5th and 6th Generation Cameron, Hydril and Shaffer MUX BOP and control systems.

Libya

• Drove the configuration layouts preparation and planed the installation and testing of subsea BOP and related equipment to ensure adherence to industry and company’s standards. • Oversaw the maintenance and overhauling of all BOP equipment by effectively planning and recommending the subsea replacements and retrievals. • Coordinated testing, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of all assigned heave compensating equipment aligned with regulatory requirements. • Established effective maintenance procedures and oversaw work performance of staff in line with HSE requirements to mitigate risk of accident. • Ensured operational efficiency of all subsea running and retrieval tools to complete work within established timeline. • Maintained accurate and up to date records of the equipment maintenance history aligned with Preventative Maintenance System (PMS) guidelines (Maximo) and, inventory of all spare, oils and operating fluids to ensure operational efficiency and costs optimisation. • Key stakeholder involved in the S.T.O.P program and weekly safety and operational meetings to efficiently problem solve emerging issues. • Initiated, developed and implemented Job Safety Analyses to identify risk areas and to mitigate risk of accident.
