Then led Steward - over a 12 month period - through the further acquisition of 35 new hospitals, multiple ancillary sites, additional physician practices and a large Medicaid health insurer to create an $8+B, 10-state integrated care delivery system - the largest privately held system of its kind in the Country. Guided managed care contracting strategy and the creation, addition and negotiation of value based contracts with many payors, including Medicare and Medicaid. Negotiated one of the first commercial VBC contracts in Mass. Product routinely delivered $25+ million in EBIDTA.Served on Steward’s internal and Board committees that focused on audit and compliance.
