It was here that Mark was able to structure a deal with Montgomery Ward to hire Mark's client and friend, NBA legend Scottie Pippen for a multi-year deal to become the spokesperson for ""Electric Avenue,"" the former retail giant's Appliance and Electronic retail division. With his long-standing client, Montgomery Ward, facilitated new promotional licensing initiatives with the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and many collegiate organizations on several sports-related product lines. Sports Promotion Unlimited endeavoured into the founding of a full service provider of products and marketing programs for the premium/incentive marketplace in 1995. This company has become one of the nation's leading promotional merchandising agencies servicing many major retailers. In 1996 Mark saw an opportunity to collaborate with Warner Brothers Studios on creating promotional products for their newest movie, Space Jam starring Michael Jordan. Mark was able to structure a licensing deal for a popcorn tin to be sold through retailers and subsequently used as a collectors item. The tins went on to sell over 100,000 units through JC Penny.
