As the Vice President, Operations for the Navy & Marine Corps Services Sector, provide coordinated leadership and direction on all sector business activities and provide guidance and direction to the business area staffs. Participate in and/or lead GDIT Level Gate Reviews and Financial Reviews such as Program Management Reviews, new business reviews, FInal Management Reviews, etc. as delegated by the sector VP/GM and GDIT policies and procedures. NMCS Sector is staffed with over 2000 employees with locations in Falls Church, VA; San Diego, CA; Stafford, VA; California, MD; Dahlgren, VA; Chesapeake, VA; Pawcatuck, CT.; Newport, RI; Charleston, SC; Philadelphia, PA.; Panama City Beach, FL.; Mayport, FL.; and Chula Vista, CA. . With additional duties as Vice President, Business Development for the sector, responsibilities include leading the pursuit of new business across the organization and positioning the organization to win new business awards. NMCS’ New Business win rate has consistently exceeded 79% with a qualified pipeline exceeding $2.385B. Develop and maintains strong relationships with customers, vendors and teammates. Promote collaboration across General Dynamics to create new solutions and to gain entry into new markets. Manage the GDIT approved BD process and ensured that the BD process was being followed across the organization. Lead/participate in new business strategy meetings, conduct strategy/gate reviews as required, develop the sector strategic plan, lead new strategic initiatives and manage investments.

Responsible for the identification, development, and capture of new business opportunities to support the objectives of the Combat Systems Sector of GDIT. Work closely with customer base to develop and articulate needs and requirements. Monitor and assess competitive environment on a continuing basis and provide insights to Strategic Planning. Brief management, develop orders forecasts and market analysis, and work closely with support functions to ensure timely application of resources in new business acquisition process.
