I have spent 37 years in DC Operations & Application/Systems Management. The past 32 years I have been a Senior Analyst/Consultant on the IBM System i (AS/400, iSeries). I also have over 20 years experience and Certified in the Help Systems, Inc. Robot Automated Suite of products. In addition to my expertise on the IBM System i/iSeries I have several years experience as a SAP Basis Admin as well. In the past at Cargill, I took on responsibilities as a Global Sr. IT Integration Analyst/Control-M Administrator. I'm BMC certified Control-M ADMIN & SCHEDULER for 6.4, 7.0, and 8.0 as of June 2014.Over 6 years ago I started with Preferred Credit, Inc. of St Cloud, MN. Exciting opportunity to get back "hands-on" with the IBM i. I have responsibilities for (2) IBM 8286-41A Power 8 Servers and (2) IBM 9009-41A Power 9 Servers, all (4) V7R3 to V7R4. Our systems connect to IBM V5000 SAN's and we use PowerHA and hardware Replication for our DR/HA. In the next month we will be implementing a new Power 10 S1014 (9105-41B) and migrating off of the P8 and P9 servers and running all 4 IBM i LPAR's on the new P10. We will continbue to connect to the IBM V5000's but will also be implementing Virtyal Tape libraries so we can do point in time backups during our day and eliminate Tape Backup We will use Immutable Storage as our "air gap" now in place of the tape backups!We use Aldon LMi for Change Mgmt, For System Monitoring we also use Fortra's Robot/CONSOLE and Robot/ALERT. In Security, we use Alliance Logging to monitor our Security Audit Journals and have locked down our applications using Object-Based Security with AUTL's and DB2 RCAC. We are using IBM VIOS, IBM SAN's, along with the Primary HMC and CBU HMC.
