Manage a team of credit analysts responsible for monitoring and analyzing outstanding US RMBS ratings

Successfully built-out and led a team of over 200 analysts. Managed Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities, Asset-Backed Securities (ABS), Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLO), Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS), Non-Traditional Structured Credit (NT) and Asset-Backed Commercial Paper (ABCP).Developed a team structure best suited for training and developing analysts and created a culture of continuous improvement focused on maximizing delivery for clients. Managed the team in issuing credit ratings on $1.8 trillion of Structured Finance new issuance volume in the US and Canada from 2018 to 2023, making S&P the most active credit rating agency in the US asset and mortgage-backed bond market 4 out of 5 years.Actively engaged with clients and other market participants including Issuers, Arrangers, Investors and Regulatory Bodies and leveraged these interactions to inform the strategy development and execution for the Structured Finance team

Co-founded and staffed a team tasked with developing a vision, partnering with data and technology teams to improve surveillance processes, gain operational efficiencies, strengthen the internal analytical experience, and establish streamlined delivery for the Structured Finance clients

Led a transformation of the US & Canada RMBS team following the events of the Great Financial CrisisEstablished a robust set of surveillance standards for the large number of outstanding RMBS ratings the team was responsible for monitoring. This included hiring and training analysts, identifying areas of risk, leading development of surveillance monitoring systems, developing a culture of risk awareness, producing timely market commentaries and re-establishing relationships with clients. Further, interacted frequently with regulators to discuss identified areas of risk and to detail the risk mitigation efforts we established and executed on.

Chosen by organization to act as an Implementation Coach to aid in establishing a lean management culture across global analytical teams. Partnered with analytical and functional leaders to understand lean principles, including 4 months abroad withthe EMEA teams.
