Operations Technician
CurrentCirculating Fluidized Bed Power Plant Operator• Extensive knowledge and experience on Power Plant Operations specifically the Circulating Fluidized Bed Boilers Technology that supplies steam and power to the Oil Refinery and putting excess power produced to the grid.• Monitor and maintain that the plant is operating efficiently by ensuring the operational parameters (pressures and temperatures) are achieved. • Ensure that the flue gas emissions meets the requirements of the DENR (Department of Environment and Natural Resources) • Take immediate actions if any disturbances on the operation occurs that could lead to company losses and to avoid trips. • Taking initial corrective actions on any unusual or abnormalities found on equipments specially the major ones.• Recommends and suggests on any changes on company's operating procedures that will make the plant operate more effectively, efficiently and safely. • Supervised and leads contractors on doing what they are ordered to do by the management like on water treatment and coal handling facilities• Member of pre-commissioning and commissioning team of 4x200TPH boiler and 4x35MW turbine generators. As well as the commissioning of major equipments like compressors and dryers, boiler feed pumps and it's auxiliaries.trainings Attended- first aid and basic life support- fire fighting basic and advanced
