I helped companies and organisations secure editorial coverage on national, regional and local television and radio. I have also launched, produced and hosted podcasts.

I have more than 30 years of media experience. I have been editor of several magazines and websites.

I have provided PR and project management support for a variety of organisations, businesses and individuals, including 1980s music icon Neville Staple (The Specials, Fun Boy Three). I was Global Communications Director for the One World Beat music festival, securing international media coverage as well as support for the festival from the likes of Billy Joel, Westlife, Level 42, The Cardigans, Europe, Paula Abdul, Bonnie Tyler and Sheena Easton. Publicity highlights included a live television appearance on the BBC1 Breakfast show.

I reported on professional football, cricket and tennis and was the Nottingham Evening Post's Olympics and tennis correspondent. In 2005, I was commended, as joint runner up with one other person, in the Sports Journalist of the Year category at the Midlands Media Awards.

One World Beat was an annual international music festival. Events took place simultaneously around the world over one weekend, using the power of music to raise awareness and funds for good causes. I got involved in One World Beat just after the inaugural festival had taken place. In year one, there were 45 concerts taking place in 15 countries, with Phil Collins lending his support. As a result of my work in the run up to the second annual festival, One World Beat boasted 225 concerts in 43 countries, with Billy Joel, Westlife, The Cardigans, Level 42, Paula Abdul, Sheena Easton, Bonnie Tyler, Michelle Gayle and Europe on board as ambassadors. Global TV, radio, magazine, newspaper and online publicity was achieved. Highlights included a live television appearance on the BBC1 Breakfast show. I managed a team of volunteers from around the world.

Neville Staple enjoyed fame in the 1980s as a singer with The Specials and The Fun Boy Three. I provided PR support for Neville on his UK comeback tour, securing print media, radio and television publicity - this included an appearance on Never Mind The Buzzcocks.

I was sports editor of the Kensington Times. My role included reporting on Chelsea FC. I also contributed to other Archant titles as a sports writer and sub-editor.
