I had collected Australia stamps for many years and gave it away after selling them to Stanley Gibbons 15 years ago.Times change and things happen in life so I started again 8 years ago yet this time choose British New Guinea and Papua Lakatoi issues to collect and research. To cut a very long story short and having several very good mentor's I became from what I am told some what of an expert in the field. The company was the 1st Fresh Produce Brokerage Company to set up outside the Footscray Fruit markets at that time.Within a couple of years we held the exclusive distribution license for the whole of Australia for New Zealand Zespri Kiwi Fruit. Which became one of many licences we held as we grew.Harvestpac specialised in suppling retail and domestic brokerage customers the following commodities, Kiwi Fruit, Berry Fruit, Mangos, Avocado's, Stonefruit and Mangos.We sold the business in 1997 to Chiquita Brands South Pacific in Cincinnati which later became the Costa Group via an ASX listing under Blueberry Farms of Australia.
