Design, integrate, and qualify power supplies/ control systems, including: power supply design/ testing, control systems design/ testing, RF circuitry/ integration/ testing, interconnect design/ testing, remote magnetron operation, magnetron locking, and pulsing. Perform troubleshooting/ qualification activities for all RF components. Integrated and developed an off-the-shelf, 100kW magnetron power supply which emphasized simplicity and cost reductions. Designed and assisted in the assembly of complex control and power systems. - Design unique PCBs using OrCAD/ Cadence, including analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits. Ensure the serviceability and ease of manufacturing specific to component selection. Integrate high-precision transducer outputs with custom analog to digital acquisition systems.- Design unique electronic processing modules for controlling high-power modulators/ power supplies and control cabinets for hosting power distribution, PLC processing, and in-house signal processing modules.- Excel at ionizing radiation effects, designing radiation exposed equipment to withstand the effects of up to thousands of kilogray doses to enhance reliability.
