Alongside undertaking my education, I worked in conjunction with team members to design and manufacture a single-seater electric race car which aims to develop engineering skills, which are implemented throughout the industry. These skills include the certification of the use of milling and lathe machinery. My role within my system of “Drivetrain” is to design and manufacture the methods in which all vital components of the race car are mounted to one another.

Responsibilities of the role include:- Working in a multidisciplinary team to achieve strict time deadlines.- Leading a team of five during stock takes. - Building and developing relationships whilst training new staff members. - Problem solving while processing deliveries.
