Health And Safety Advisor
Current• Lead on the provision of H&S advice, training and monitoring for several sites across Group• Supporting sites to implement group Health, Safety and Wellbeing procedures and advising departments on how these procedures might be interpreted and implemented • Maintaining key relationships with key stakeholders to support with embedding H&S into all activities including with the high-risk departments where I support a number of major projects • I complete H&S audits across the group and monitor completion of audits for NSMM and SIM. I have recently completed bi-annual site walkarounds for example.• I complete monitoring reports and attendance at the site Safety & Wellbeing committees. • Liaising with external parties (insurers and enforcement bodies) as required.• Working with several project teams, including Sound and vision, Sound and Vision Plus, New Warehouse and 1830s Warehouse and the fire door and compartmentation projects to support and advise the relevant project teams in particular to ensure they are aware of their responsibilities under the CDM 2015 regulations. • I ensure site specific Health & Safety training is available and deliver a range of Health, Safety and Wellbeing training • I provide fire safety advice on daily operational matters and new exhibitions galleries, including advising when external expertise may be required • I attend department and project meetings and provide H&S updates and guidance as required.• I use my knowledge of key regulations to provide advice to sites including on PUWER, LOLER, Safe boiler operation, Legionella, asbestos management, and CDM regulations. • I support colleagues on completing specialist assessments, which has recently included supporting a colleague in completing noise assessments for the IMAX at NSMM, where I helped in the planning and execution of the monitoring.• I complete and review incident and incident investigations, assigning appropriate actions where investigations find these necessary.
