R1 Final Assembly Launch Engineer

Assist President of the Club with vintage vehicle restoration and management of various Club matters. Responsible for new member registrations and facilitating distribution of new and current membership packages. Involved with restoration and transport of vehicles for various global automotive events. Communicate with high level representatives of Automobili Lamborghini regarding club and vehicle information.

Involved in design and release of body manufacturing tools for multiple OEMs. Manage all documents and related CAD, product timelines and tool status related to part release and design review. Experienced with CAD modification and updating purchasing and build process engineering. Train new employees related to the release process and provide objectives to lead the releasing department. Communicate with multiple departments. Develop new and modify existing internal and customer provided processes with updated/revised product information, station cycle times, utilization matrix, and field checks. Create Sequence of Operation sheets, system and zone layout drawings, product sequence sheets, machine time studies, and any other related documentation to justify the content and cost related to the customer driven change. Create customer presentation to justify and elaborate on the change, the content, and the associated impact to time and cost along with the estimate.

Extensively involved with the launch of the S550 Mustang program, with hands on training from body construction to delivery. Areas of engagement include water testing and diagnostics, drivetrain, tooling for convertible top and strut build up. Interfaced with the launch team, plant management, product development, and suppliers. Developed key manufacturing skills and demonstrated One ford Plan mannerisms.

Involved in several departments within the company, including the electronic department, the sales department, and the Servo department. Rebuilt, replaced, and installed Servos and hydraulic pumps.
