In my desire to serve others through the medical profession, I have worked as a Medical Laboratory Scientist since August 4, 1996. I have served many of these years as a locum tenens Medical Technologist, providing staffing relief as well as assisting laboratories reach regulatory compliance through Process Improvement studies and education. I am now the Laboratory Director for Santiam Hospital and Clinics in Stayton, Oregon.As a Laboratory leader, it is my privilege to serve exceptional Medical Laboratory Scientists, Laboratory Assistants, and Phlebotomists. I oversee the daily operations of the Laboratory, assisting the staff and specialists meet workload demands in our efforts to provide exceptional care to our patients and their families.It is my privilege to assist this team of Laboratory professionals and apply LEAN principles to our practices in order to maximize the productivity of our resources while minimizing waste in order to best serve our patients.
