Managed all aspects of a three shift, 110 employee manufacturing operation. Brought on board to replace factory manager. Hired as Process Engineering manager and promoted to Vice President of Manufacturing with P&L responsibility for a $26 million division manufacturing Components for the Medical Imaging and Scientific Instrumentation industries. Primary focus was on the turnaround and the reengineering of the non-performing division with an emphasis on manufacturing, materials management, procurement, Traffic, budgeting, cost control, quality and daily operations. • Responsible for multiple manufacturing locations with 250 employees in the United States in Mexico.• Reduced fully loaded labor costs from $25.00 per hour to $2.50 per hour by transferring manufacturing operations to Matamoros Mexico. Reduced overtime from 16% to 6% with a simultaneous 15% increase in production volume.• Used constraints management techniques to identify bottleneck operations, Introduced selective automation to increase quality and productivity.
