Directed all facets of waste management operations and the development of policies for the country including landfilling, incineration, collection, fleet management, and education. Employment focused on managing departmental change to meet the best management practice and the nation's goals. Accomplishments include:• National Project Manager for the implementation and operation of the National Community Enhancement program for 2015 and 2016.• Redesigned landfilling operations complete with standard operating procedures to meet best management practices.• Developed process to ensure preventative maintenance was conducted on all equipment (stationary and mobile).• Designed and implemented a national recycling system including procurement, infrastructure, collection, MRF design and construction, processing and marketing. Chaired CI Government Initial Hurricane Debris Clearance Committee.• Authored sections of the Initial Debris Clearance Plan.• Administered system of policies and procedures, performance review, program development, collection and disposal (90 employees with an $8 million operating budget).• Conducted numerous technical presentations on behalf of the Department. Provided numerous media campaigns on behalf of the Department including television, radio, newspaper, and speeches.• Authored comprehensive departmental restructure plan including organization layout, training plan, succession plan, transitions plan, and new job descriptions.
