At BlackRock’s New York City HQ, Mark Royce began his Hospitality career as a Real Estate AssetManager, helming $500M in commercial holdings which included CalSTRS’ AKA luxury hotels. Leveraging both his project management and financial analysis expertise, he closely aligned himself with AKA’s Operations Management team to help steer hotel profits northward each quarter. Bolstering his hotel investment analysis, valuation, renovations and repositioning acumen at NYUSchack, Mark next embarked on a Hotel Transactions career with Marcus & Millichap in Las Vegas.There, he pitched and negotiated exclusive hotel listings and closed deals in the Marriott, Hilton,Choice, Boutique and Motel spaces. Royce holds a Real Estate license in Nevada, completed his Real Estate Finance program at NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate, and received his B.A. in Communication from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign.
