Actively involved in preparation, writing and submission of a successful proposal for the EU 6th Framework Marie Curie Scheme (Host Fellowship for Early Stage Research Training) worth €1.2million. Actively involved in preparation, writing and submission of proposals for Science Foundation Ireland, Enterprise Ireland, Health Research Board and Internal Funding Schemes.Responsible for monitoring alignment between research within the Centre, the DCU strategic plan and National and International funding bodies.
