We provided early stage venture capital funding to technology companies that hired Virtualogic, an IT Services company based in Bethesda, MD. Fund raising was challenging due to the Internet market meltdown, so we transitioned our focus to providing M&A advisory services and worked with the subsidiary of Hitachi that acquired Virtualogic to help them locate add-on acquisitions.

I began my career with Towers Perrin in the call center department of the HR Outsourced Administration operation. I served as a team leader, and ultimately became a reengineering consultant focused on streamlining administrative procedures and reducing costs. I moved to the management consulting part of the company in 1996 and focused on designing and implementing total reward and executive/employee pay compensation programs for companies in the pharmaceutical, biotech, utility and financial services sectors.
