Throughout my career, I have also contributed to the community in voluntary roles such as Chair of School Governors, Youth Football Coach, and Club Safeguarding Lead.I have extensive experience in managing Response & Neighbourhood Policing, Operations, and Contingency Planning, with a recent focus on Protective Security Operations, Counter-Terrorism CONTEST Protect & Prepare, and coordinating Royal & Protected Visits. As the current LRF Capability Lead for Excess Deaths, Mass Fatalities, and Humananitarian Support in Emergencies, I work to enhance capabilities with key partners.With a proven track record in both operational and tactical leadership, I am well-versed in responding to Critical and Major Incidents, as well as Emergency Planning, Resilience, and Response. I specialise in managing force risks related to Events, Operations, and Contingency Planning, with a focus on Protective Security, Vulnerability Assessments, and Risk Mitigation.I am an accredited Counter-Terrorism Security Coordinator and, until recently, a Police Search Advisor. I have overseen complex searches for Crimes, Missing Persons, and CT Investigations, as well as managed SAR and Severe Weather response cells.I was appointed as the Lead CT Security Coordinator and Protect Lead for the G7 Summit in Cornwall 2021, where I developed the security strategy and mitigated multiple threats while leading a team of UK and international security partners. Later, I supported Police Scotland as a CT SecCo for COP26 and conducted a peer review of the Security Plan for the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.I have authored the LRF Survivor Reception Centre and Family & Friends Reception Centre Plans, with elements recognised by the Cabinet Office in National guidance. I also wrote the LRF Combined Agency Emergency Response Protocol, defining roles across the LRF in Response and Recovery, and have created numerous frameworks for responding to specific threats and risks.I am experienced in managing Strategic & Tactical Command Centres for Major Incidents, and I have served as a Tactical Advisor for Major Incidents and CT planning and response. Previously, as Staff Officer to the UK Seaport Police Commander, I oversaw the Western Approaches Portal Group, supported the National Maritime Security Strategy, and reviewed the UK Maritime Policing and Security Capability for NCTPHQ, which included work within the EU.
