▪ Charged with laboratory analysis for various mixing technology applications including use of customer and simulated products for solids suspension, blending, heat transfer and gassing/mass transfer applications.▪ Experienced with process and mechanical troubleshooting of applications and processes as well as optimization of process developments for better yield where mixing is concerned including fluid force measurements, flow visualization with dye/pH indicators, conductivity, tomography and log data with data acquisition software.▪ Familiar with test planning and scheduling including general advice and guidance as necessary.▪ Develop, coordinate, and execute product and process experiments ranging from 20 gallon to 95000 gallons.▪ Experienced in rheology/rheometry testing as needed including viscosity, specific gravity, particle size distribution and weight percentage.▪ Experienced with development and fabrication of scaled down models of full-size customer applications to be used in a laboratory setting including machine shop, metal fabrication/welding, carpentry work as needed.▪ Safely manage customer chemicals, products and waste per regulatory standards including forklift licensed and HazMat/DOT certified.▪ Able to perform calculations and organize data using Excel, provide written reports using Word and PowerPoint.▪ Able to assemble, disassemble and test rotating equipment such as gearboxes and mechanical seals for inspection.▪ Act as a liaison between Sales, Marketing, Engineering and customers as needed.▪ Member of internal Safety Committee tasked with helping to improve overall facility safety record.
