As Logistics Coordinator I was responsible for tracking and tracing all air and ocean import freight under our care from their origin to their destination. I maintained several spreadsheets monitoring the status of many shipments in their products and made hourly and daily updates. I maintained up-to-date communication with air and ocean carriers of status of freight in care of our company. I investigated any instances of damaged, lost or mis-shipped freight. I responded instantaneously to immediate requests for freight progress and status by a number of responsible parties.

As Import Service Coordinator I was responsible for tracking and tracing all air import freight from their origin to our facility. I took charge of notifying freight forwarders and customs brokers of length of time their freight had been stored at our facility and any storage charges that were due. I regularly problem-solved any issues of missing freight, inventory discrepancies, billing errors and communications issues. I used the AMS system to transmit air waybill information to U.S. Customs in advance of its arrival.
