Compile and release concessions iaw AP2190 (General Requirements for Aerostructure and Material Suppliers), hence ensuring the safety of the end product8. Manage ‘Special Process’ qualification in line with international requirements9. QSC audits (AS9100 audits, product and process audits) and assessments’10. First Article Inspection reports (FAI) check and approval based on OEM requirements11. Validate the eCAIR (Electronic Constituent Assembly Inspection Report) iaw AP2190B: General KEY TASKS for this position1. Develop a Customer and Market Focus culture within the relevant shop floor department2. Analyse and provides material review disposition for nonconforming materials, parts. (MRB).3. Participate in design and product reviews to ensure that producibility, inspectibility, reliability, safety, Quality System integrity, and business process management objectives are met4. Analyse and performance reports and process control statistics in order to determine and improve process capability or product quality5. Perform root cause analysis6. Recommends and supports the implementation of corrective actions that are necessary to reduce or eliminate non conformances7. Actively carry through improvement activities and secure results8. Contribute to a holistic cooperation as a member of the Quality team

• Assume the role of both Executive Quality Manager and Health and Safety chairperson in his absence;• Establishment of a ‘Documented Quality System’;• Establishing and managing a Quality Assurance Audit Program to encompass the quality system, various technical activities and support services;• Compiling, scheduling and conducting divisional and inter – divisional quality awareness and quality system training;• Reviewing Data packs/ inter divisional orders with the intention of approving the technical content for the application thereof;• Assuming the role of Lead Auditor during audits;• Reviewing Subcontractors with regard to renewing their approvals;• Conducting investigation reports resulting in effective preventative actions;• Compiling reports on accidents/incidents • Carrying out ‘On Job’ training with regard to Management procedures and Airworthiness Regulations;• The analyses, control and trend monitoring of quality data;• Ensuring all customer requirements and statutory body regulations are included in quality plans and are adhered to;• Conduct Aircraft Input Audit;• Compile training course material;• Assisting on an ongoing basis with health and safety checks and health and safety monitoring.• Assist with the compiling of Quality Procedures and ensuring quality awareness in the organisation on an ongoing basis. • Induction of new employees.
