Records Analyst - Department Of Natural Resources

The Records Analyst scans and reproduces records, sorts & files electronic images, researches parcels of land throughout Nova Scotia, sorts and files documents, registers file details into a records database, and deals with property law cases. The analyst has other records management related duties as assigned and support staff in data entry, typing letters and memos, filing and processing files and records.This position requires one to be well organized, tactful and capable of working in a team environment and/or independently. Must be a self‑starter and able to work with minimum supervision. The analyst must be proficient in a computer environment, with a working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, database applications, e‑mail, web‑based technology and scanning software. A positive attitude and excellent organizational and communication skills are required. Attention to detail is required to protect the integrity and reliability of the records.
