After many years working in education technology with a main focus on student management systems and having built Tribal's APAC business from start-up to one of the largest providers of such systems into schools, vocational ad higher education in Australia and New Zealand, I have changed direction and now work in my own business providing software and services in two broad areas of interest:To my education customers - I have a boutique technology portfolio of software that is focused on transforming student recruitment, retention and success. This portfolio has been built up by working with some of the best specialist technology companies from Australia and the UK and includes: - student profiling; two applications that allow institutions to profile the cognitive aspects of students' capabilities and also understand more about their levels of readiness and commitment to their education and training. Truly extraordinary levels of accuracy in predicting probabilities of retention and success that allow my customers to refine and focus student support services to meet the individual needs of students. - education portals; an outstanding, mobile first designed and delivered suite of portal technologies that allows organisations to segment its communities and tailor all communications to the needs and preferences of those groups. - interim leadership and consultancy rolesFor my software supplier customers - specialised consultancy and project engagements. I have a particular focus on supporting businesses in rapid growth, business development and strategy, engagement and improvements in their work around major procurement models and those areas of education that have the greatest positive impact on the learning and life chances of children and young people.
