The VCOM-Louisiana Dean oversees the academic operations for the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, manages the financial resources related to academic operations, and assures implementation and assessment of the VCOM Long Range Plan (LRP). This includes preclinical, clinical, postgraduate GME program development.The Campus Dean oversees the undergraduate medical education operations and in the affiliated clinical sites. The oversight includes both faculty and staff performance on the campus, assurance of excellent recruitment, retention, and academic outcomes. The Dean assures the success of the academic teaching programs. The Dean also works closely with the Vice Provost for Research to the success of the research programs on their campus. The Dean represents the College to the local community, the undergraduate community, and to healthcare entities within the Delta Region.

I work as a legal consulting physician and attorney in a wide arrays of areas. I provide legal services in the areas of wrongful death, serious bodily injuries, forensics, elder law, estate planning, trust formation, life planning, business formation, advance directives, medical directorships, capacity evaluation, assist others in legal defense in cases involving elderly clients.
