As the CFO of privately held Green River Capital ($36M annual Revenue), I lead the accounting and finance functions. GRC was the market leader in managing distressed real estate assets for the big banks including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Chase and others during the market crash and aftermath of 2008. My contributions included creating systems and processes to enable rapid and profitable growth, creating effective compensation structures, building a highly functioning accounting and finance team, implementing MS Dynamics accounting system, leading the company through it's first successful third party financial audit, and ultimately selling the company to Clayton Holdings in 2013.

CFO consultant to multiple companies along the Wasatch Front providing equity and debt financing expertise, financial reporting and business analytics, implementation of systems and controls, strategic input and direction, and cash flow management. I left Advanced CFO to join one of my clients, Green River Capital in December 2008.

I lead all Accounting functions for Advanced Fibre Communications (NASDAQ: AFCI $335M annual revenues) which engaged in the design, manufacture, and marketing of telecommunication access solutions and services. We sold AFC to Tellabs (Nasdac: TLAB) in Naperville, IL for $1.9B in November 2004 and I stayed on for 18 months to assist in the transition. I was responsible for all general accounting, manufacturing, inventory, and supply chain accounting, financial reporting, and implementation and management of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) processes.

I started my career out of MBA school as a Sr. Financial Analyst for the Google of the day, Hewlett Packard. My roles included principal financial support for FP&A, Manufacturing and Inventory, and ultimately R&D. Hewlett Package split into two companies in 1996 and I moved to the Agilent Technologies side. I progressed to Financial Operations Manager over the $2B manufacturing operations of the Test and Measurement Division of Agilent Technologies. I was responsible for financial decision support and reporting on new products, inventory management, and supply chain.
