My team helps insurance companies and pension funds use stochastic modelling for risk capital, ALM, and SAA. I also lead the product management of Conning's stochastic modelling software.

In this role I worked with clients across APAC:- I recruited, trained, and mentored a team of two experienced managers and three analysts. - My team provided ALM, SAA, and economic capital modelling advice and software to fifteen (re)insurance companies across 7 countries, including two firms with balance sheets over $500 billion. This work included identifying managements’ goals – book value, earnings volatility, solvency, etc. – building appropriate asset models, and delivering analysis to CIOs, CROs, and Chief Actuaries.- Under my leadership the team's revenue increased by 80% over three years.

In this governance role I produced reports and presentations for the Asset-Liability Committee and other board committees. I also led the review and validation of Prophet models used for regulatory reporting.

I was responsible for developing AXA Wealth's Solvency II Pillar 3 reporting processes for life and savings business, working with colleagues across various teams, business units, and geographies. I was also responsible for streamlining EV reporting.

I managed a team who worked closely with the strategy, proposition, and marketing departments on pricing initiatives and proposition developments. I was responsible for various projects including:- Validating and embedding the CAP:LINK Economic Scenario Generator in our business. - Getting sign-off from our CRO on the level of liquidity required to support mutual funds trading. - Working with our CFO and Director of Strategy to build a cash flow model of an acquisition target. - Getting approval from the Head of Compliance for a 'value for money' approach for a hedged income product. - Reviewing the pricing structure of the market-leading offshore bond product.

I developed AXA Wealth's reporting processes for Solvency II SCRs and produced capital projections for the ORSA. Our products included traditional life insurance, offshore bonds, and mutual funds. A highlight of this role was building a model of AXA Wealth's fund counterparty risk. I gained experience of Prophet and VIPitech, including model development and validation.
